Lately I have been putting a lot of thought into better organizing my BOS. I've decided instead of just adding things randomly to my book, to actually start categorizing things and making some of my topics easier to find for both myself and possibly, future generations.
One thing I would like to expand a bit on are the many different traditions in Paganism today. I have to admit I'm a bit dense as to many specifics on many paths. I myself prefer the ecclectic, solitary Wiccan path, but I would like to know more about what differentiates our paths. What defines the differences? What is the difference between Druid and Celtic? Do you follow a specific tradition within Wicca? Gardnerian, Dianic, Helenic, etc? Share your favorites with me if you would and enlighten me a bit. I love the feedback I get from all of you. I'm in a constant state of learning, and that's how I like it!
The latest Pagan Living podcast I think is what inspired this particular curiosity. As Emerald was speaking about Buddhism, I found myself thinking, "huh, that's cool......hey, what exactly do Buddhists practice/believe anyways?" I hope I'm not the only totally ignorant Pagan out there, but I'd really like to know what it is about your path that drew you to it. I know there is plenty of reference material available on the subject, I have a ton of books where I could easily find the cookie-cutter definitions, but what I'm really interested in are personal stories and experiences. Bored? Send me a story...
