The Goddess gave me the most perfect gift this year.  After 4 years of meaningless litigation and gut-wrenching stress, I was finally awarded sole physical custody of my two children. Thanks to my wonderful attorney, the trial was actually a relatively painless process.  She and my ex-husband's attorney stream-lined the whole thing and wrapped it up in half a day.  My ex-husband received the biggest dose of Karma I think I've ever witnessed come to a person all at once, and needless to say, he's livid about it, but it had really been coming for quite a long time.  I truly feel that the Goddess was watching out for my family.  My coming into contact with my attorney was no accident, it was meant to happen that way.  My children, my step-children, my husband, friends and myself are so relieved that my children get to continue to stay here and be with their friends and family.  They still get to visit their father as often as we can arrange, and hopefully one day they will be able to have a good relationship with him.  Of course, that is largely dependent on his own behavior towards them.
